The dashboard includes two guide-related sections that help you stay on top of daily assignments without opening the full Guide Board.
Pro + Lodge: The Guide Schedule and Unassigned Alerts only appear on Pro and Lodge plans.
Guide Schedule
The Guide Schedule widget shows each active guide's status for today and the next few days. Each row displays:
- Guide name
- Today's assignment -- The booking reference and guest name, or "Available" if unassigned.
- Status indicator -- Shows whether the guide is assigned, available, or on a rest day.
This gives you a quick view of who's on the water today and who's free.
Unassigned Trip Day Alerts
If any confirmed bookings have trip days within the next 7 days that don't have a guide assigned, an alert banner appears below the Guide Schedule. Each alert shows:
- The booking reference and guest name.
- The unassigned date(s).
- A direct link to assign a guide (opens the Guide Board or booking detail).
Acting on Alerts
Click any alert to jump to the assignment. You can assign a guide from the Guide Board or directly from the booking detail page. Once all trip days for a booking have assigned guides, the alert disappears.
Dismissing Alerts
Alerts clear automatically when assignments are made. There is no manual dismiss -- the alert persists until the trip day has a guide assigned or the trip date passes.
When These Sections Appear
- Guide Schedule appears whenever you have at least one active guide on your roster.
- Unassigned Alerts only appears when there are actually unassigned trip days within the 7-day window. If everything is assigned, this section is hidden.
