Signing up for Hookset takes about two minutes. Once your email is verified you land directly in the onboarding wizard and can start configuring your lodge.
Sign Up
Go to gethookset.com/signup and fill in the registration form:
- Full name -- Your name as the account owner.
- Email address -- Used for login and all account notifications. Use a work or lodge email you check regularly.
- Password -- Must be at least 8 characters. Use a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols for a stronger password.
Click Create Account to submit.
Verify Your Email
After submitting, Hookset sends a verification email to the address you entered. Open the email and click Verify Email Address to activate your account.
Note: The verification email comes from no-reply@gethookset.com. If you don't see it within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder.
Clicking the verification link logs you in automatically and redirects you to the onboarding wizard.
What Happens After Signup
Once verified, your account is activated on the Free plan and you are taken directly to the onboarding wizard. The wizard walks you through your lodge details, operating seasons, and your first package. You can skip the wizard and finish setup later from Settings if you prefer.
Tip: Complete the onboarding wizard before creating your first booking -- packages and seasons need to be in place first.
Free Plan
New accounts start on the Free plan at no cost. The Free plan includes:
- Up to 10 bookings per month
- 1 guide
- Access to all core booking and guest management tools
You can upgrade to Pro ($149/mo) or Lodge ($299/mo) at any time from Settings > Billing. See Choosing the Right Plan for a full comparison.
Password Requirements
Passwords must be at least 8 characters long. There is no maximum length. To reset a forgotten password, click Forgot password? on the login page and enter your email address. Hookset sends a reset link valid for 1 hour.
Changing Your Email Address
To update your login email after signup, go to Settings > Account and enter a new email address. Hookset sends a confirmation link to the new address before the change takes effect. Your old email remains active until the new one is confirmed.
